This from a dear family friend living in NW Ohio whose most important and rewarding job was being the mother of five children. Also, she has experienced much through various efforts, including: as a nurse, as a registered social worker, earning a Master’s in Health Education with a focus in Gerontology; and capturing family memories.
My life has been made significant by my Faith, Family and Friends and becomes richer as I strive to have a better relationship with all of them.
Since love is the essential ingredient in those relationships, I would like to share the following thoughts
The Seven (Seas) C’s of Love
To help a relationship flow smoothly I suggest these seven C’s.
- Commitment
- Compassion
- Cooperation
- Communication
- Courtesy
- Compliments
- Comedy (Humor)
The above suggestions are all important but I am more and more aware of how important clear communication really is; for instance when giving a compliment, be specific rather than generalize. The same can be said for a constructive remark.
We often forget to treat our loved ones the way we would treat a stranger or a casual friend.
Laughter, Loving and Learning are essential to bringing joy to ourselves and those around us.
